The toner is functioning properly; however, the printer promptly detected it as non-Canon, transitioning from an "error of replace cartridge" to "can't read cartridge not authentic." Although it operates effectively, its counterfeit nature will be acknowledged by your printer, which is expected at its price point.
Excellent product. There's no reason to engage in the absurd strategy of the printer company with its exorbitant cartridge prices. Although the printer might warn that the cartridge is not genuine and could affect performance, when it comes to these cartridges, it's merely an idle warning.
